Weekend Update

Last Friday, Stephanie and I went to see Mamma Mia. I had seen the stage show at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas for my 31th birthday and loved it. So, I was super excited to see the movie when it came out. Meryl Streep and the cast did not disappoint, it was every bit a feel good movie as the play was. I sat there and tapped my feet and laughed and sung along a little under my breath. Stephanie was laughing at me because I was acting like such a goof.





Of course, the big movie event was Batman "The Dark Knight". I went to see that with Lewis, Jerome, and Kevin on Sunday night. I really liked the show, it was full of action and Heath Ledger as the Joker was great.


Then, on Monday night, I got to play volleyball with Lewis and Karl. They play in a league on Monday nights, but because I usually work when they are playing, I don't normally play with them. This time though, I had Monday off and they were short a player so Lewis called me and I went to play with them. We had a really good time, except for the fact that we lost all three games. SUCKS!!

I guess I can mention that we attempted to play tennis on Sunday as well, but we got rained out, so that didn't happen.

All in all, it was a nice weekend.
