Weekend Update
From L to R: (Todd, Jerome, Lewis, Kevin)
Started the weekend by going to Mango's an outdoor volleyball place located in Baton Rouge. It is down the street and they had power. It was weird driving back, because we went through a neighborhood with power, to a neighborhood without power, to a neighborhood with power, then another neighborhood without power, before getting home.
Mango's had a cool decor, it's kind of a beach bum's paradise. Granted there is no ocean, but the courts are neat, there are 9 sand courts and a bar that serves cold drinks and bar food, (hamburgers, nachos, etc). I liked the volleyballs hanging from the ceiling.
More pictures of the bar.
Lewis and Jerome grillin on our patio. We came home and grilled hot dogs and hamburgers after playing at Mango's. Lewis was tending to the burgers and there were tons of flames and smoke pouring out of the grill. Kevin opened the sliding glass door to the patio and our fire alarm inside the house went off! Jerome and I grabbed a couple of towels and started fanning like crazy to make the alarms go off, it was funny.

We finished off the night by playing blackjack and watching "Hairspray" and "Disturbia". Then crashed at about 2am.
This morning, I played volleyball with Kevin, Lewis, and Karl at our normal Sunday place, I'm glad there's power there now. Update: Baton Rouge almost has 50% power to the entire city, but there are still tons of traffic lights that are out. Now, everybody is closely watching Hurricane Ike.
